A Dry-Zone Peak

“The summit looks out over flat dry-zone plains broken by occasional outcrops, rather than the green hills of the central highlands further south.

Galgiriya Mountain rises from the dry-zone forest northwest of Kurunegala. The trail leads through scrubland to a granite summit with views back toward the Galgamuwa plain.
