The only national park in Sri Lanka where visitors walk freely on marked trails instead of touring by jeep — and the only way to reach World's End before mist rolls in is on foot at dawn.
A montane grassland and cloud forest plateau at around 2,100 metres, gazetted as a national park in 1988. The main loop trail is roughly 9 km and passes Baker's Falls and the cliff edge known as World's End, where the land drops about 870 metres.
