The site features a number of ancient stupas and the Aradhana Gala, which offers a panoramic view of the surrounding area.

A mountain peak located approximately 12 km east of Anuradhapura, known for its ancient Buddhist ruins and significant historical sites. Mihintale is believed to be the site where Buddhism was introduced to Sri Lanka in the 3rd century BCE.
