White Sand Beyond the Harbour

“Pigeon Island National Park sits a short boat ride offshore — a fringing coral reef with snorkelling and small blacktip reef sharks often spotted in the shallows.

A stretch of long, white-sand beach on the east coast about 15 kilometres north of Trincomalee town. The water is calm and clear through most of the dry season from May to September.
