Sri Lanka's 20th-tallest waterfall, viewable from a signed roadside platform on the A7 between Hatton and Nuwara Eliya — no hike required.
A pair of waterfalls on the Kotmale Oya — a tributary of the Mahaweli — where the river drops over three rock outcrops through a working tea estate near Talawakelle. The upper fall, Maha Ella, is 80 metres tall and 50 metres wide; the lower, Kuda Ella, drops 50 metres immediately downstream.
